The breadfruit is a very large oval fruit with a bumpy green skin, used as a vegetable. Its creamy pulp, whose taste is reminiscent of potatoes, is white, fibrous and rich in starch. The breadfruit can be grilled, fried, boiled or mashed to replace potatoes. Its carbohydrate content is high, vitamins A, B, C ... The fruit is a globular or more or less oblong syncarp 15 to 30 cm in diameter covered with conical nipples or simply haloed surface in seedless forms .
